Apple Blue Cheese Puffs

 

1 box frozen puff pastry

6 apples, any variety peeled, diced, and placed in lemon water

8 oz blue cheese crumbles

 

 

·         Roll the puff pastry out according to package

·         Cut the puff pastry into 2 inch squares

·         Place 1 tsp cheese and 1 Tbsp apple dices onto the center of each square

·         Gather the four corners up and pinch the pastry around the cheese and apples into a purse shape – seal these well!

·         Place the puffs on a greased piece of parchment in a 400° oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the puffs are golden brown

·         Let cool 5 minutes, serve warm

 

Note:  These can be kept in the freezer unbaked until ready to use
